PROJECT HISTORY
Fascinated by the huge amount of kinetic energy that can be stored in a small spinning flywheel, we (www.ancodesign.com) wondered 2008 why a current flywheel Training Device - whose "heart" weighs only 2-3 kilograms - has such a large volume, weighs up to 260 kilograms and costs up to 10,000 Euros. We focused on the essential and invented and developed the modules based YoRoller.
MILE STONES
2008-2012
Tests around "inertial moment", first product concept, market research, development of prototype generations 1 & 2 together with AnCo.design.
2016-2017
We had the idea to build a MODULAR training device. Further development, engineering, inertial moment tests, prototype generation 3, functional tests.
Prototypes generation 4 and 5, industrial design, intensive internal testing with remarkable results. Further marketing research and Marketing Concept.
November 2017
German patent application.

We applied with "TiRoller" for the "ISPO Brandnew Award 2019" among 440 applicants worldwide.
November 2018
PCT-Application with claim of earlier German priorities.
"TiRoller" won the "ISPO Brandnew Award 2019!" in the category "Fitness".
We must change our brand "TiRoller" into "YoRoller". We also modified the whole documentation, movies, etc. and convinced ISPO to do the same.

We spent some days in the area of "NASA Ames Research Center" in Mountain View, California, creating the base for a cooperation with a company located in that area.
German court imposes a sales ban on the counterfeit "Kynett ONE" in Germany.
The Dutch manufacturer accepted the verdict.

German property right confirmed
The application for cancellation of our German property right "Gebrauchsmuster" was clearly rejected.
A further lawsuit against the Dutch copycat is ongoing since 2021.
